I’ve put together a small video to commemorate my time spent in Taiwan. What started as a blind vacation, originally planned for less than one week, turned into perhaps one of my most life-changing experiences. From the moment I landed I made friends everywhere I went, and the kindness of Taiwan’s people touched my heart. I heard about the volunteer opportunities in Guangfu and I took a leap of faith to participate. I was only able to do so because of the helpful and benevolent nature of everyone in Taiwan. This trip brought me unbelievable opportunities, but more than that it opened my eyes to the fact there could be such a place that felt so much like a home to me. I wish Taiwan all the best, and I hope I can come back someday.
